He still makes sense!
Even after eight months in office, Barack still sounds like he knows what he's talking about. I find it interesting that such resistance is coming against Obama, especially in regards to health care (please see my previous post's video clip) - it's interesting that all the other major world leaders are saying, "wait, so there are people in your country who, when they get sick, they just...stay sick or go bankrupt?" I think that people on the protester lines rallying against socialism (because that's totally what would happen if we had a public option...and why stop there? Next, stop - Communism!) should see John - Q. Probably for the first time.
It's frustrating for me to watch how common sense can be so adamantly opposed - and angrily too! People are legitimately pissed off! Whether it's fear of change, fear of government control, or just people being victims of propaganda (and in this case, FOX's producer (the woman in green) :

Still, Obama seemed cool, calm, and collect as usual; the man was actually pretty funny (Video: http://www.cbs.com/late_night/late_show/video/?pid=gFt6B0WR4_mQt8pMYe48CeKXusX7Ffjn&vs=Big%20Show%20Highlights&play=true). He spoke genuinely and directly, and it makes me think "how do people not buy into this?!" Maybe I'm being snowed by Obama's "Good looks, flashy smile, and charm" but think about it: many Americans got snowed by a bumbling Texan who I still think isn't fit to be President in "Asshole;" but he got to be president of our country. Call me a sucker, but I think what he's saying is just logical and straightforward. What do you think?
